Susan J. Broderman, M.D. is board certified in internal medicine and a Fellow of
the American College of Physicians. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University School of Medicine
(formerly Hahnemann University), she completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of
Pennsylvania. Dr. Broderman has served as a clinical instructor of medicine at Drexel University since 1991. She has been
part of the staff of Doylestown Hospital since 1995 and served as a chairperson of the Women's and Family Health Committee
and an active member of the Bioethics Committee. She completed a preceptorship in osteoporosis at Allegheny University Hospital
Center of Metabolic Bone Diseases in 1998. She served as a student health physician at Delaware Valley University from
1995 through 2007 and serves as medical consultant for the college's Student Health Center.
Rebecca L. Lew, CRNP, CDCES
Rebecca Lew, N.P. is a board certified family nurse practitioner and a 2012 UCSF program graduate. Prior
to joining Broderman Internal Medicine Associates, Rebecca worked at the University of California, San Francisco Women's
Health Primary Care Clinic. She believes in a collaborative approach to patient care and demonstrates this by providing patients
with the tolls and education to make informed health decisions. Her interests include reproductive health, family planning,
chronic disease prevention and nurse practitioner training and mentorship. Rebecca is also a Certified
Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and facilitates a regular Diabetes Educational Workshop to provide
lifestyle and self-management counseling on diabetes care. Rebecca is also fluent in Cantonese.
Bev Dorsey-Funk, MSPAS, PA-C
Bev Dorsey-Funk, MSPAS, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant. She
graduated from Arcadia University in 2000 with a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies. Bev's clinical
career includes family and internal medicine in Bucks County. She believes in preventing disease when possible by providing
patient education and recommending preventative screenings. She encourages her patients to be actively involved in their
health care decisions and provides an environment to support her clinical philosophy. In her spare time, Bev enjoys
spending time with her husband and three children.
Anne Beth Huy, MSN, CRNP
Anne Beth Huy, MSN, CRNP is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She began her career
in health care working as an RN at the Medical College of Pennsylvania Hospital, caring for oncology patients. Anne
Beth then graduated from Drexel University in 1999 with her Master of Science in Nursing, with a family nurse practitioner
concentration. Anne Beth's prior experience includes working at Doylestown Internal Medicine preceded by working with
the neurrosurgery group at MCP and a Family Practice in Newtown, PA. Anne Beth believes in a holistic approach to healthcare
where all patients are encouraged to be actively involved in determining their own healthcare needs and making informed decisions.

Jen Broschart-Smith, CRNP, FNP-BC
Jennifer
Broschart-Smith, FNP-BC, CRNP is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She obtained a Bachelor of
Science in Nursing degree from Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) in 2007 and became a Registered Nurse. After,
Jen cared for patients on a busy medical-surgical floor at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (TJUH) for over 7 years.
While working at TJUH, she went back to school at TJU and in 2013 obtained her Master of Science in Nursing with a
focus on Family Health. Since then, she has practiced at other internal medicine practices and most recently in a convenient
care setting. Jen is most excited to return to internal medicine to assist in providing a medical home
for patients. She believes that having a primary care provider is integral in establishing a trusting relationship
between a patient and their provider, as well as to provide consistent, quality care to the patient over time.
Jen is originally from Dushore, PA. She is married and the mother of 3 wonderful little girls.
Joanne Van Deusen, B.S., Chief Operating Officer
Joanne joins Broderman Internal Medicine Associates and brings 20 years of
healthcare business leadership and operational expertise to the practice. Joanne's professional background also
includes marketing and business development success working with multiple organizations within the life science industry.
Her strategic vision and tactical execution has led to operational practice enhancements to support the clinic expansion as
well as the development and launch of additional clinical programs, healthcare partnerships, on site services and patient
resources to optimize clinical care for the patients. Joanne oversees the clinical and business operations of the medical
practice.
Shirley B., LPN,
Sr. Medical Assistant
Shirley is a Licensed Practical Nurse and Phlebotomist with 32 years of experience in the long term
healthcare setting. She received her degree from Bucks County Community College. Shirley joins the clinical team
and she will support the practitioners and patients by providing optimal care and triaging clinical care for our patients.
In addition, Shirley will also be responsible for performing multiple procedures, capturing patient vitals, supporting the
practice care manager as well as assisting the practice clinicians as needed during the patient office visits and patient
follow up.
Sanae (Sunny) A.,
Medical Assistant
Sunny joins Broderman Internal Medicine Associates as a Medical Assistant.
She is a recent graduate of Bucks County Community College, where she graduated with academic excellence and achieved enrollment
into the Bucks County Community President's Honor list. Sunny also received high accolades during her externship
with a local specialty medical practice. Sunny will work with the medical team at the practice and provide clinical
support to patients during their office visits as well as throughout their clinical care. We are delighted to have Sunny
join the practice.
Sarah A., B.S.W., Medical Assistant
Sarah has 5 years professional health care experience across a variety of health care settings. Sarah
earned her bachelor's degree from Elizabethtown College and while she
has a great deal of experience in social services, Sarah found her true passion with hands-on patient care and plans
to pursue a second degree in nursing.
Sarah is experienced in working as an
aide and technician with both the psychiatric and geriatric populations, and she has developed a love and passion in her most
recent position as a medical assistant, in an urgent care setting. Sarah is hands on and loves learning and helping others.
Sarah joins the practice as a Medical Assistant and will support both our providers and patients in clinical care.
Jennifer S., Sr. Patient Care Coordinator
Jennifer is a Senior Patient Care Coordinator who studied in the secretarial
and graphic design departments at Bucks County Community College. Her prior experience includes working in both the
advertising and publishing industries. Jennifer manages the front office responsibilities to include scheduling appointments,
processing prescription refills, generating practice referrals and pre-authorizations as well as supporting the office practitioners
in providing patient support and office administrative requirements. Jen celebrated her 10 year anniversary with the
practice in 2018.
Diane H., Practice Operations-Medical Coordinator
Diane is pleased to join Broderman Internal Medicine Associates as Medical Coordinator. She brings 10 years
of Healthcare experience to include: electronic medical record documentation, training and management as well as extensive
customer service expertise. Her previous experience includes education and computer programming. Diane will assist the practice
with operational procedures as the practice medical record coordinator as well as providing daily support to both providers
and patients. The practice is delighted to welcome Diane to our healthcare team.
Sara L., Medical Receptionist
Sara recently graduated from BCCC where she received her certification as
a Medical Assistant Administrator. She accomplished a great deal by qualifying for the President's Honor list in
Spring 2020 and also by maintaining a 4.0 grade average her entire time at BCCC.
Sara joins the practice as a medical receptionist and will support both providers and patients with patient care coordination.
